ACER BUERGERIANUM

TRIDENT MAPLE. Foliage is small, shiny and tri-lobed. Spring growth is coppery-red, maturing to a glossy dark-green in summer and then turning a bright red to yellow and orange in autumn. Bark is flaky and pale grey. Performs well on poor soils. Deciduous. Hardy. Height: 5m.
